Our undergraduate program has a large number of features which make it unique and one of the leading electronics engineering degrees in the country.
Candidate for the Electronics Engineering should possess:

- Desire to undertake academic and personal challenges
- A responsible nature and sense of ethics
- Interest in technology
Since the foundation of the ECAES ranking system, each year at least five of our students have been among the top ten and we are in the two best score national averages in the category.
Students from the Electronic Engineering program at the Javeriana University have received the most prizes at the national “Otto de Greiff” competition (The most important national contest that awards the best senior projects from universities around the country).
We have state of the art laboratories, capable to handle more than 250 students working simultaneously, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, as well as specialized labs for digital systems, telecommunications, automation, control and robotics.
We are the first electronics engineering program with the CNA seal (since 1999). Our program belongs to the association lead by the MIT, CDIO, (as Latin-American region coordinators) oriented to create innovative engineering teaching for a global market.
